Lorraine Cook
Serving as Program Coordinator for the Oregon Health & Sciences University
School of Nursing distance learning for the last 15 years, Lorraine’s vision
also propels her work on education for global citizenship. She helped found
the School of Nursing’s Cultural Appreciation Committee, she serves as
faculty adviser for Nursing Students without Borders, and participates as a
“Sofia,” a member of the women’s advisory group for 4GGL (For Girls Glocal
Leadership) whose focus is the world’s poorest, most vulnerable
girls.

Ellen Craine
Ellen has 25 years of experience teaching, training, mediating and
facilitating. A former early childhood educator, she has worked
extensively with volunteer development in a number of Rogue Valley
non-profit organizations, including Peace House, Crisis Intervention
Services, and Mediation Works. For 10 years she worked as a staff
member of Mediation Works, directing Community and Workplace
Mediation Programs. She presently serves as Program Coordinator for
the Rose Circle Mentoring Network.

Leslie Lanes
Over the past three years, Leslie was on the Board of Directors for
Masters of Ceremony, Inc. - a mentoring program which was home to
The Rose Circle project.
Now the Executive Director of The Rose Circle Mentoring Network,
Leslie uses her skills developed over the last 30 years in non-profit
management as a Mediator, Facilitator, and Consultant. She is also on
the Board of the Millionth Circle Initiative – an international movement
that teaches the value and skills of circle work in all fields of
endeavors.

Renée Riley-Adams*
Renée Riley-Adams has worked with The Rose Circle in many capacities since February
2006 and currently chairs the board. She started The Rose Circle’s first circle of girls in
Ashland, meeting 77 times over the course of four years until the girls graduated high
school. Renée has facilitated women, girls and couples for the past 16 years through
The Rose Circle, Sister Source and Woman Within. Soon to be an “empty nester,” Renée
is pleased to have raised two daughters in a joyful marriage and intergenerational family.
She is passionate about marriage, family, communication, scrapbooking, and the outdoors.

Mary Ann perry
Mary Ann Perry
Being an active member of her community is a priority for Mary Ann. She has mentored
through the Rose Circle for over a year and has participated in Camp Luna for the past
two summers. Her passion is to provide opportunities to those who typically wouldn’t have
them, especially students with special needs. Mary Ann volunteers with the North Mountain
Park education programs and is a Special Needs Program instructor with Coyote Trails School
of Nature. |  |
